Steven Crowder Crashes ‘Young Turks’ Cenk Uygur Event In Character As … Cenk Uygur

At SXSW on Sunday, conservative commentator and comedian Steven Crowder generously loaned his talents to an abysmally dull panel discussion hosted by The Young Turks‘ co-founder and host Cenk Uygur. Crowder’s appearance eventually got him escorted out of the mostly empty room, but not without first creating some hilarity and cringeworthy awkwardness.

Uygur was commissioned by SXSW to host a panel discussion in its media and entertainment conference, held annually in Austin, Texas. As the far-Left host droned on about the success of his show in front of, as Crowder describes it, “an eighth of a room full of people,” Crowder-as-Uygur, walks in bloviating.

“Hey, this is bullsh**!” announced Crowder’s Uygur as he strutted through the room. “What’s going on here? I thought we were going to have a reasonable discussion!”

Between Crowder’s laments about the “real shame” of the situation, the real Uygur tried to explain to the leftist audience who the fake Uygur is.

“Okay, so this is not a friend of mine,” says real Uygur. “This is what he does. He basically makes money by riding my d***.”

Fake Uygur responded by explaining, “So I do this homophobic stuff …. and I go, ‘You’re a homophobe!'”

When real Uygur claimed that Crowder “makes a living by trying to copy me” and said he should get his own panel, Fake Uygur repeated his “homophobic” line, “Yeah, like I know right. This guy’s riding my d***!”

Eventually Uygur requested that security remove Crowder, who went peacefully enough, though with great mock physical effort to the sound of some relieved claps from the tiny leftist crowd.
