Canada To Continue Draconian Mandates, Trudeau Transportation Minister: ‘It is what it is’

Canada To Continue Mandates-

Will Canadians ever be afforded the right to breathe and travel freely? Trudeau crony and Transport Minister Omar Alghabra said that orders forcing masking and Covid-19 inoculation passports for participation in public life will continue to remain the Canadian status quo. This comes as airports across the United States stopped enforcement of a national transportation mask mandate after a Florida federal judge ruled the order illegal.Alghabra made the announcement during an appearance in Calgary Tuesday, stating that Canada would continue what he describes as following advice from “experts and doctors,” The Post Millenial reported.

“The mask regulation is in place and it’s based on the advice that we received from our experts and doctors and based on data. It is proven that masks prevent or reduce the transmission of COVID,” he said. “There is no change in our regulation… Whenever the advice that we receive changes because circumstances change, we will change our regulation. But for now it is what it is.”The American judge who overturned the mask mandate on airplanes, Kathryn Kimball Mizelle, is a former Justice Clarence Thomas clerk and only around 35 years of age. She was reportedly appointed by Trump before her Senate confirmation in 2020.
The move was praised by many, including Florida state Governor Ron DeSantis.”Great to see a federal judge in Florida follow the law and reject the Biden transportation mask mandate. Both airline employees and passengers deserve to have this misery end,” DeSantis wrote Monday.Actors of the Biden administration expressed a different view on the matter. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki commented that the ruling was “obviously a disappointing decision,” and that “the CDC continues recommending wearing a mask in public transit.”
