RINOs Prioritize Ukraine Over Crisis In US

During the lone stand taken by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in the Senate to defend Americans from further looting by corrupt leaders and foreign governments, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has taken a trip to attend to the issue concerning Americans most: the Donbas region of Ukraine.
Notably, the senators have not yet visited the Abbott Laboratories facility in Michigan, one of the country’s largest baby formula manufacturers, that was shut down by the federal government in February due to an investigation into possible contamination, igniting a shortage that is endangering our nation’s vulnerable babies — you can’t make this stuff up. Instead, McConnell took Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) and a small group of Republican senators to Ukraine on a mission to meet with their authoritarian leader, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in the name of defending democracy in Eastern Europe.

The Ukrainian leader accused Russia of war crimes during their invasion. He also claimed Russia’s intentions in the region include “genocide,” a claim counter to the Kremlin’s stated intentions of accomplishing “demilitarization” and “denazification.”
Zelenskyy noted the bipartisan support for Ukraine exhibited by the Senate Republicans, who joined the ranks of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and first lady Jill Biden in recently visiting the war-torn region.
