(LifeSiteNews) – According to an analysis published by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), a recent study available in the prestigious Lancet peer-reviewed journal reveals COVID-19 vaccine booster shots may be harmful to the immune system and cause significant adverse reactions.

The study also shows that eight months after a two-dose regimen, the injected have lower immune function than the unvaccinated.

Dr. Kenji Yamamoto, a cardiovascular surgeon who has authored or co-authored thousands of papers available on NIH’s PubMed website, highlighted not only the well-known waning effectiveness of the experimental coronavirus gene-based injections, but that the shots may actually cause harm to their recipients’ immune systems as well.

The Lancet study “showed that immune function among vaccinated individuals 8 months after the administration of two doses of COVID-19 vaccine was lower than that among the unvaccinated individuals,” the Japanese physician wrote.

For this reason, he highlights how even the European Medicines Agency (EMA) warns “frequent COVID-19 booster shots could adversely affect the immune response and may not be feasible.”

“The decrease in immunity can be caused by several factors such as N1-methylpseudouridine, the spike protein, lipid nanoparticles, antibody-dependent enhancement, and the original antigenic stimulus. These clinical alterations may explain the association reported between COVID-19 vaccination and shingles,” Dr. Yamamoto wrote
