I’ve always said the Sheriffs in this great Nation make up one of our last lines of defense.
I don’t entirely know why (I can only assume it’s because they’re decentralized and local), but Sheriffs often seem immune to the Woke crap that has infected other organizations like the top TV military generals.
Sheriffs don’t generally play that game.
They play for keeps.
